Millie was born and raised in New York, in the heart of Manhattan. She later went on to live in the suburbs of New York. Millie considers her husband, daughters, and grandchildren to be most important to her. If she isn’t spending time with her friends and family, you can almost always find her in her craft room designing something new. Her love of poetry and her former job as a school bus driver helped pave the way for her first book. Millie felt kids needed a fun way to understand the safety and enjoyment of their daily school bus ride. The Bus Ride to School is Millie’s first children’s book. She also has a published poem in the book Invoking The Muse.
